So Wrong

By baldbrian  //  Lyrics  //  No Comments

Verse 1
Could it be … Maybe
This distance … Is crazy

Verse 2
Could it be … So hard
I just feel … So far

Chorus
I’m packing up leaving this place
So long, so wrong
I can’t believe how long I’ve stayed
So long, so wrong

Verse 3
Would it turn … This tide
If I took … Your side

Verse 4
Would it be … Alright
To give up … My fight

All the King’s Horses

By baldbrian  //  Faith, Lyrics  //  No Comments

Verse 1
They gallop into the fire storm.
Their destination a soul alarm.
To young to be brave and yet they fear no harm,
Because of their Lord’s faithful long arm.
They wage their battle through the night
With holy armor fitted tight.
The Word of God, like a wielded light,
Brings blinding destruction into the fight.
The demons rage. The demons scream.
The demons feel trapped in a terrible dream
As the King’s horses destroy their team
Leaving rotting corpses and a deep blood stream

Bridge 1
And so the story goes of spirit wars and casualties that grow.
And Satan’s weakness sets the show.
And the love of Christ burns with a brilliant glow.

Chorus 1
All of us King’s horses
We’re riding in the night
On our mission for glory,
Our search to do what’s right.
And through the darkness rising,
We heard the angels say,
All of you King’s horses,
God’s grace on you we pray.

Verse 2
The devils wage a sneak attack.
They dig their daggers in a mustang’s backs,
But the King’s horses turn around in their tracks
And lead a Blitzkrieg-type return attack.
The demons screech. The demons cry
As the King’s horses pray into the sky.
Great bolts of fire strike, the demons die
Leaving their black carcasses to putrefy.

Bridge 2
And so the story goes of spirit wars against demonic foes.
The ending we already know.
Christ will conquer Satan with mighty blow.

Chorus 2
All of us King’s horses,
We’re riding in the night
On our mission for Jesus,
Our warm and guiding light.
And through the darkness rising
We hear our Savior’s call,
All of you King’s horses,
Come and give your all.

Ending (spoken)
And so the story goes that all the King’s horses and all the King’s men, after many years of constant fighting day and night, that the forces of good were finally unleashed at full strength and the Lord of this world returned once again to finish the battle which started so very long ago before any of us existed. And as he arrived in splendor, mounted on a wind of fire from Heaven, and before I could blink my eyes, the victory was won. And by the grace of Yahweh this broken world was pieced back together again.
